Patrick Schroeter is a designer and craftsman who lives and works in France. His work is a fusion of styles and materials, motivated by a love of process and driven by curiosity. His furniture draws on diverse inspirations, from the classical furniture of antiquity to the far flung fantasies of science fiction. His aim has always been to combine the best of both worlds, creating contemporary pieces with a modern aesthetic tempered with a dedication to craft and finish that is firmly rooted in traditional practice.

All of Patrick Schroeter's work is conceived, designed, constructed and finished by himself in his extensive workshops in the peaceful mountain village of Mas-Cabardes. The pieces displayed on this site are all available for commission and can be tailored to the clients specifications in regards to size, materials and finish. We are always developing new designs and welcome bespoke commissions.
